AIO AFRICAN REINSURANCE FORUM 2026
The African Insurance Organisation (AIO) 2026 Forum brought together insurance and reinsurance leaders from across Africa and around the world in Mauritius, from 10–14 October 2026.
Under the theme “From Data to Decisions: How Artificial Intelligence is Transforming Reinsurance”, the Forum provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, strategic discussions and collaboration.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE AIO AFRICAN REINSURANCE FORUM 2026
Day 1
The Forum started with a Golf Tournament, bringing together delegates and industry representatives for a day of sporting engagement and networking.
Day 2
The second day featured a Fitness Walk and the official Welcome Cocktail, sponsored by the Insurers Association of Mauritius, providing an opportunity for delegates to connect and strengthen professional relationships.
Day 3
The first day of the conference brought together industry leaders and experts for insightful discussions and knowledge exchange on the evolving insurance and reinsurance landscape. The day concluded with an evening dinner at Restaurant Rêve d’R.
Day 4
The second day of the conference continued the exchange of perspectives and expertise, fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration on the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of insurance and reinsurance in Africa.
